The University of Cape Point (UCAPO) lies in the picturesque of the City of Cape Town, a city where learning and education has been opened to the world as early as 1800.
University of Cape Point (UCAPO) was established in 2016 in order to open up the best private education and research to South Africa and the world. It is committed to academic excellence and innovation in all its five activities: research, teaching, learning, enterprise and community engagement. Although private, education and research have to be accessible and relevant to enable both our staff and students to make a global impact to transform economies and lives for the better.The University is a confederation of Colleges, Schools, Faculties, and Departments. The Colleges are governed by their own statutes and regulations, but are integral to the make-up of the University of Cape Point.
The University currently operates in Cape Town where short learning programmes are offered. The administration is also done in its Head Quarters in Cape Town.
